A street, ten quiet minutes
Construction first, ink second. Then take the guide away and see which rules stayed in your hand.
- 1
Eye level and two points
Place them before a single window. The points can sit off the sheet. A street sketched with both points inside the page is usually standing too close.
- 2
One near corner
A vertical, then the ground, then openings that shrink together. Doors in a row share the same points and the same head height only if they are the same door.
- 3
Hide the guide
Drop the underlay to nothing and correct the line. If the street falls apart without the ghost, the points were never really placed.

Drill
Trace the big edges, then set the guide to zero and correct the street from the rules.
